Dear Fellow GARCA members,
I hope you all are having a successful year! This year the summer convention is scheduled for July 16-18 at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and is fast approaching.
Last year, because of each of you, the silent auction was a tremendous success. I believe we have the ability to top last year’s success and I am asking for your help. Due to the success and the interest created by some of the auction items, we are asking again that you team up with us in providing unique and desirable items to auction off. The more desirable the item, of course, the more interest it generates. We are asking that you begin the brainstorm process of what you can possibly provide and then commit by letting Betsy Rahm and her team know what you are going to provide. Last year’s goal of having 20 quality items to auction off was met and we are wanting to have at least that many again this year.
Again, last year’s success was a direct result of your efforts. If you have an item to donate but are not able to be at the convention in person, we can help arrange to have your item picked up and delivered by another member. Please let Betsy know if this is case.
We will continue to send out reminders and make phone calls as necessary to ensure this year’s auction is a success. In the meantime, email email@example.com to let us know how you can contribute to the Silent Auction and if we can assist in any way.
